I will ascend above the stars...
Told through the eyes of humans across every era in history, this three-season animated epic spans 7,000 years to tell the story of a Father who sacrifices everything to win back His children, and an enemy who will stop at nothing to keep them apart.
One by one, across centuries and civilizations — a wanderer east of Eden, a stranger outside an ark, a prophet in a foreign court, a reformer nailing words to a door — the same questions resurface.
Can God restore what was broken without force?
Can He win back His children and still let them choose?
That is what ABOVE is about.
King Nebuchadnezzar turns around to inspect a mysterious presence in the fiery furnace. (Season One | Episode 7)
Rich worldbuilding. Nuanced characters. Complex truth.
The most theologically serious story in human history has been handed almost exclusively to children's animation: ABOVE finally unleashes the gravity of scripture on the 21st-century stage: prestige animation.

Arcane, Spider-Verse, Entergalactic. These animated films and shows have found massive success with older audiences. The 18-35 age demographic is hungry for substantive art that doesn't shy away from exploring tough questions. Yet almost no one is making Biblical animation for this demographic yet. ABOVE is changing that.
Each episode centers on a single character living at the heart of a pivotal moment in the divine conflict. The story jumps centuries at a time — but God, Lucifer, and the angels remain, binding every episode into one continuous drama.
It's monumental, yet intimate. Beautiful, yet tragic.
When heaven's most beloved angel turns his brilliance against the Creator, two lifelong friends find themselves on opposite sides of a question that will split the universe in two.
Is God actually love? Or is He an elaborate manipulator using His power to vie for affection and loyalty? Is He above all to serve — or to oppress?
Our process is rigorous.
For each episode, we begin with the Bible — parsing every line, hanging on every word. From this, we establish the non-negotiable pillars of the story. Then we consult history, archaeology, and extra-Biblical writings to flesh out the world, testing each new detail against the Biblical narrative.
For theological questions specifically, we go deeper still — into the original languages, letting the Bible interpret itself. From there, we trace the thread of Christian belief back before the Greek philosophical infiltration and political compromises of the third and fourth centuries AD.
The immovable foundation of ABOVE is Scripture.
We believe the surest way to find authentic Christianity is to follow that thread all the way back to its source. To Jesus.
We believe ABOVE has the potential to be a legacy piece — the kind of story that marks a generation.
A vision this ambitious needs to be seen to be believed. That's why we're creating a proof of concept: a definitive look at our production pipeline, cinematic quality, and unique tone.
Projects like this either happen with belief and support, or they don't happen at all.
With your help, it can.
We want to make sure the unique vision and impact of the story doesn't get watered down or lost in the studio system. With your help, ABOVE can become a reality.

We need a lot more art before we can launch — concept work, character designs, environments, animatics, posters. But we're not backed by a studio. We're building this independently, and we need your support to get there.
THIS IS WHAT A SHOW LOOKS LIKE BEFORE ANYONE BELIEVES IN IT ENOUGH TO FUND IT.
